About me
Yumi Yanagisawa
born and living in Nagano, Japan
In 2014, I graduated from the University of Montana, USA.
I studied WordPress, SEO in the Marketing Department at the business school.
After graduating from college, I worked as a international trade officer for 5 years.
This is an industry where fast arrangements are the norm and mistakes such as exporting to the wrong country are absolutely not tolerated. I was always required to communicate with customers accurately and promptly, so I started to make efforts to communicate with customers easily and minimize communication costs.
I started learning website development in the spring of 2020 and currently work as a freelance coder, mainly with website development companies.
ーWhy Website Development?ー
Because I want to make the Internet available to everyone.
In recent years, it has become commonplace to search the Internet.
However, like my parents, there are still many people who cannot master how to use the Internet.
Especially with smartphone screens, buttons are simplified and it is sometimes difficult to know where and how to operate them.
It is no exaggeration to say that this situation reduces the quality of daily life in this day and age.
Since I have seen my parents have been struggling many times, I have come to think that I would like to make the website somehow easier to use.
A website that is difficult to use (and difficult to view) is also a lost opportunity for the seller of the product.
I want to make their websites the key to attracting customers.
Creating an easy-to-use website facilitates communication between the company and its customers.
Furthermore, an easy-to-use website can be an employee for a company.
For example, if you put your store’s address and hours of operation on your website, you may not have to answer customers’ telephone inquiries.
Thus, there is no doubt that having a user-friendly website is essential for a company.
I would be happy to help connect companies with their customers in any way I can through my involvement in web production.
